The AnekkeVoice collection pays tribute tothe African Canadian activist Viola Desmond. This woman was arole model in the fight for racial equality in Canada, and she was the firstwoman to appear on a 10 dollar note in her country.

The voiceof Viola Desmond and her belief that we must fight for the causes that webelieve in are the great inspiration behind the Voice collection. Because yourvoice counts and the world belongs to the brave, your new bag will speak foryou!

  • 53 years after her death, theface of Viola Desmond appeared on the 10 dollar notes of her country. Thefirst women to appear on bank notes!

  • She was a successful entrepreneur,who specialised in cosmetics and beauty products for black women.
